Technology as an Equaliser

The Women’s Economic Empowerment Network will host its fifth meeting focusing on Technology as an Equalizer. This event brings together researchers and practitioners to explore the role of digital tools and internet connectivity in advancing women’s economic opportunities.

Participants will hear about the use of chatbots from Jonathan Telfer of Mission Alliance, learn more about digital finance and women’s economic empowerment from Charlotte Ringdal, and gain an overview of the evidence related to the impacts of internet connectivity for women and their households in developing countries with a presentation from Prof. Jonas Hjort (University of Oslo and University College London).
